Monkee, a real Tomgirl.. My favorite clothes;  Baggy jeans, sneakers, Star Wars
T-shirt, hoody. You get the vibe. Now that I’m getting older I feel the need
getting in touch with my feminine side. Don’t ask me why, but for all of you
having the same “issue” I’m making the official guide how to feel like a girl.
All the steps I’ve done myself so trust me…

Step 1: Get High Heels
I’ve got a shitload of shoes, but almost all of my shoes are categorized in the
sneaker section (it’s a joke I don’t categorize my shoes) but if you want to feel like
a girl you have to buy High heels. I know, at first you can’t walk on them properly,
so train at home. Don’t wear your heels an entire day and don’t wear them if you know
that you have to walk a lot! You’re feet are going to be tortured, but don’t get discouraged,
you will master the art of walking on high heels. 

Awesome tip:
if you’re going to a party and you want to wear your high heels, buy yourself some cheap flats
and put them in your bag. They don’t take up much room and you can hug yourself
for being a smart girl when you can relax your feet in your flats.

Now that I’m working at a Shoe store, we have our own music channel.
And yes, the whole day you’re listening to popmusic. So music of the day is
not really music I’m really fond of, but I like this one.

2010 in the house!
We had an awesome party @ our place. First plan was to have a party
in The Hague, but the house where we should go was already taken by
some other people..aargh..But master plan number 2 was a great alternative.

My first New Year’s party in Utrecht, Dennis and I had 6 people over and played
Lego Rock band en Buzz throughout the night. We had sooo much food!
People who know me, know that isn’t a surprise hihihi. We had a lot of fun.

We went outside to make a toast on the New Year, lighted some kiddy stars
and got 2 Chinese lights. We all wrote our names on it after I wrote a wish on it
for all of us. We lit it up and let it go to the stars and beyond.

After that we watched Paranormal Activity. Damn! The movie was boring!
But every moment in the movie when it was 03:06 am my head disappeared
behind a pillow. I’m really into the Paranormal stuff, but I couldn’t take the scary,
you don’t see anything but you can hear that there’s something haunting you.

We went to bed at 05:30 am and woke up the next day at 12:30. We all were like
zombies, some look better than others and after breakfast everybody went home.
In the evening Dennis and I went to his mom’s place to have dinner at Paradise
with his mom, uncle and aunt. It’s a really great Chinese restaurant but we hate it now.

We had to wait 2 hours for our food. People that came in later got their food even faster
than we had our food, we were still waiting.. The service was to cry for. They fucked up
my order, so I had to wait even longer for my food and it was burned..
Well you can imagine that dinner wasn’t joyful and when we got home our clothes smelled
like awful Chinese Food. Never again..

-10 degrees Celsius outside, it’s snowing..
It looks like a fairytale, finally a white December month.
I’m sitting here having a hard time staying warm and our Museum day
is canceled I think. Bummer, I felt like going to a museum today.

Worked a lot and enjoying my day off. Sale in a shoe store is hard work.
Everybody is surprised by the weather and in need of warm shoes.
Christmas is a good excuse to buy the not so warm shoes, cause
nobody is going outside and the low prices are the best excuse ever.
It’s official, I’m the assistant Store manager of Sacha and I’m happy to be that.

Yesterday had Horror movie night with some friends and watched Black Sheep.
Awesome movie, we laughed our asses off. Even when you don’t like horror movies,
you have to watch this one some time. Before the movie we played Lego Rock band.
I love playing the drums, I’m family of Animal from the Muppet show I think.
It’s so funny to play Rock band with friends, especially when they start singing even
without a lot of booze!

Well I’m going to warm myself up with a cup of tea or something.
Have a lot of snow fun and success to all of you that need to go somewhere today,
tomorrow, well the rest of the week!

O dear, I went shopping with Dennis for some small presents for Sinterklaas and when I watched
the Dutch cuddly news that evening I noticed myself and Dennis on TV for a split second.. *sigh*

A couple of months ago I had the privilege to see her live with her band.
She’s good! The band around her Awesome! I hope they will be famous!

Monkee back in action, it’s been a while.
Working hard at a Sacha Shoe store.
I’ve got to get my biological rhythm in place now.
I’ve to get up early in the morning and in the evening when
I arrive home, I’m spend. We still get a lot of visits of friends,
but I have to say that it isn’t easy anymore now that I’m working.
Don’t get me wrong I do want to see my friends, but I hope they
don’t mind that I’m not the hyper Monkee they used to know.

I really want to do my own work after I’m done working, but
for now that’s out of the question. I’ve got some energy left to
eat my dinner and use the remote control of my TV, but that’s
about it. But I’m confident that I will combine my powers to be
able to go to work and create games in my spare time with friends.
I will.

In the meantime our shower is still borked…argh…It’s been like 3
months ago and I’m still showering at a friend’s place next door.
Hopefully at the end of this week our shower will be fixed.
I want my own shower back!!
